Ruben Oddekalv, acting new leader

The Norwegian Environmental Protection Association (NMF) has decided in a unanimous board resolution that Ruben Oddekalv will act as acting leader until elections are held. He is the son of the Environmental Protection Association's leader Kurt Willy Oddekalv, who tragically passed away on 11 January this year.

Ruben Oddekalv has until now held the role of deputy chairman of the union, and to fulfill this role the board has decided that Henrik Rutledal will act as deputy chairman until elections are held.

A new election will be held in a few weeks. More information to follow.

Both have a long time at NMF and know the organization very well. Ruben has followed in his father's footsteps as an environmental warrior ever since he was small and over the years has also taken over more of the responsibility for the day-to-day operations. He also took over Kurt's functions and duties when Kurt was ill after his two strokes.

The Norwegian Environmental Protection Association is pleased that we can now continue our organization and operations. There should never be any doubt about the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency's fighting spirit and strength.
